Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign Lights Atlanta Buildings Blue ...




September 1st marked the first day of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and the official launch of Vantage Oncology?s ?blue? prostate cancer awareness campaign in Atlanta.

To promote prostate cancer awareness, buildings across Atlanta will change their lights to blue. Centennial Tower, Peachtree Pointe, the Concourse Corporate Center (?King? building), the DeKalb County courthouse, Fulton County Government complex, Eastside Medical Center, and others will turn their lights blue throughout September.

Prostate Cancer, the second deadliest cancer for men, remains one of the most frequently diagnosed but detectable and curable diseases. The Who Do You Wear Blue For? campaign is a call to action for all the important men in our lives: fathers, husbands, sons, brothers, and friends. Education and early detection are critical to winning the fight against prostate cancer.
